Description: Studio Art Pottery Raku Blue & White Crackle Glaze Pot Planter Bowl - SIGNED This is an AMAZING handmade studio art pottery blue and white pot belly planter. The planter was made using an AMAZING raku firing that darkens the clay and turns it black or dark gray. The glaze has cracked, and the beautiful black color of the heated clay has come through the cracks. This handmade pot has a ring textured neck that goes up to the rim. This is an imperfection on the rim where the glaze was thin, and possibly popped during the firing process. Every time I look at this pot I see something new! It's shaped like the bottom of an hourglass, or a pot belly. The rim has a diameter of 5.25 inches and the pot is 5.25 inches tall. The pot belly goes out a further 0.5 inches. This piece is signed on the bottom by the artist. It is in AMAZING CONDITION! There are some imperfections from the manufacturing process, but those are part of the beauty of the piece. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. Check out my eBay store for more great items: https://www.ebay.com/str/mvsellsstuff Shipping with USPS Ground Advantage Mail.
