This is a 3D printed stitch length guide for portable walking foot sewing machines. It will fit Sailrite LS machines and their clones like Rex, Consew, Tuffsew, Omega and others. The upgrade adds adjustable stops to the stitch length and direction lever. The plate replaces the existing plate below the stitch length control and has two adjustable lock pins to set the maximum forward and reverse stitch length. No more guess work trying to return to the same forward stitch length after reversing. Just swing the lever to the stop and the stitch length is back to where you originally set it up. It’s easy to use. Loosen the knobs, slide the pins to the desired position, tighten the knobs and sew. Clone portable walking foot machines do not come with this stitch length guide. You can install mine and upgrade your machine for convenient and consistent stitching. This is the culmination of a personal design project to make my portable walking foot machine more like a current model Sailrite LS or LSZ. I decided to offer it on eBay for a competitive price for those who own clone machines. It will also work on older Sailrite LS machines that didn’t come with a stitch length guide. The plate attaches with the two existing screws used by the old lever cover. Remove the old cover and knob and install the upgrade. I will provide an M6 nut in the kit to lock your old knob to the shaft. There are YouTube videos covering the replacement of the stitch length plate online. The plate, pins and knobs are made of 3D printed polymer. The pins are reinforced with M3 stainless steel screws. It is a sturdy design. This is a functional upgrade for these machines.
