The garden was adorned with trees and flowering plants of all kinds, in memory of the queen’s homeland – orange and lemon trees that with their intense fragrances inebriated anyone who visited the garden. Taking its inspiration from the lively colors of Caterina’s “citrus grove,” Stipula has created a new pen in orange hard rubber and Sterling silver, called (only naturally) “L’Orangerie”. “L’Orangerie” fountain pen, with a two-tone nib in rhodium-plated 18K gold and a crescent-filler filling system, is packed in an elegant orange coffer with a black fabric lining to create an effect reminiscent of the precious multicolor fabrics of the French court of Caterina de’ Medici. “L’Orangerie” fountain pen is available in a limited series of 100 pieces only, this particular writing instrument is number 049/100 and was exclusive to Point Plume Paris.
