Original labels inside each shoe: right foot has the classic red and black triangular Stetson Shoe Company logoleft has a label for Miller & Paine’s “Footform Store,” Lincoln Nebraska. Photos include a newspaper ad dated June 2, 1910, referencing both the shoes and the department store. Remarkably good condition considering age; absolutely wonderful to study. Marked inside with a series of hand-written numbers that looks to be something like: “39- 163838.” Approx dimensions are: 11" total insole length, with an incredibly pointed toe; 4” widest point on upper; 2” highest part of heel; 4” across widest part of spade sole; 2 1/2” narrow at widest part of shoe opening.
