Description: George lll Sterling silver tablespoon fully hallmarked for London 1785 and with a monogram at the top of the handle. The maker's initials are 'WS', however I have not been able to categorically determine who the maker is as there were several makers with this ID/style of initials at the time. The spoon measures approximately 214mm from the tip of the bowl to the tip of the handle and 42mm across the widest part of the bowl. It weighs 63.3 grams. This is a spoon in very good condition for its age. It is fully intact and clean and with good clear hallmarks and a good weight. There is just minimal surface scuffing consistent with age and use.
