(The production opened May 17th, 1971 at the Off-Broadway Cherry Lane Theatre in New York City, moved to the Promenade Theatre August 10th, 1971 and ran for a combined 2124 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... Side note: Just one year after this performance, Milwaukee's historic Palace Theatre was demolished.
