Description: ADORABLE STEIFF PIPPY MAUS This Pippy lost his chest tag while running from a hawk that lived in the tall cottonwood tree by my Mother's house in Montana. His long tail even survived the attack. He measures 12 cm and his head moves from left to right. His counterpart can be seen in the "Steiff Sortiment 1947 - 1995 on page 368. His black trousers and red jacket remain bright. No missing ears, eyes, nose or whiskers. No moth holes in his clothing. His hard rubber hands and feet have some crackling. Nevertheless, he remains the adorable Pippy Maus created by Steiff 59 years ago.
