Northwest Airlines was a major United States airline that was founded in 1926. Northwest's home base was the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. Northwest was merged with Delta Airlines and continued to operate under its own name and brand until the integration of the carriers was completed on January 31, 2010. Northwest had 69 A-320's in service. This aircraft is still in service with Delta Airlines. This Airbus A320-211 with registration number N316US, first flew on March 21, 1991. It was delivered to Northwest on June 04, 1991. In October of 2008, this aircraft's colors were changed to Delta Airlines after the Northwest/Delta merger, and is still currently in service.
