Description: This is a very nice recent REPRODUCTION of a vintage Star Fleet Research Brad Nelson Phaser 1. It is styled after his later version with red black meter and chrome lined aspirator pile. The paint is semi-flat textured with matte clear coat. The body is a hollow polyester resin recast from an original. The thumbwheel potentiometer / on-off switch is vintage NOS, the chrome Mylar is 1970's original stock, and the edgewise level meter was salvaged from a vintage CB radio. The thumbwheel switch snaps on-off and rotates. The ready lamp escutcheon is fabricated using the correct vintage snap bushing. The aluminum side rails are custom fabricated as is the aluminum front plate, clear acrylic beam emitter, and ready lamp indicator. Overall dimensions and weight are approximately 4.25"L x 2"W x 1"H and 55 grams. The phaser is static and contains no electronics, lights, or sound. It has been marked inside as a reproduction.
