Description: This is a lever cap for a Stanley 604 or 605 Bedrock woodworking plane. I included pictures of the plane body it came from (broken and not included) in the last two pictures. This is a Type 3 plane and has the "B" casting marks and no space in the Patent date in the bed. It was made between 1900 and 1908. Type 1 through Type 3 lever caps also have the "STANLEY R&L CO. BED ROCK" marking on the front of the lever caps; however, only the Type 3 has the "B" marking. The lever cap has been cleaned and oiled. it is in good working condition with no cracks or breaks.
