Stanley Meltzoff Bonefish Below on the Flats signed Art Proof 1/40 lithograph

Description: Here is a pristine limited edition 1/40 Artist’s Proof signed and inscribed by Stanley Meltzoff (March 27, 1917 - November 9, 2006) - famous for his marine paintings. This impression has been in the publisher's Sportsman's Edge Ltd folder in came in for its whole life – never framed, no matt marks no sunning. The paper is 31 x 15 inches, the image 27x 10.5 inches. The lithograph is signed once in the image, once by the artist as part of the limited edition, with a personalizing inscription when he gave it as a gift. The limited edition is rare, last of the proof edition was listed for about $700 in 2010 and sold out look at the Silverfish Press website - Not any of these a cheap mass produced version, "print on order" Giclees reproductions ! Not the later 1983 printing. SM's signed one he saved for friends and other artists This one is essentially unique, an AP more personalized that even the "limited edition". Won't be another like this unless a friend of Stanley's elects to sell theirs. Out of respect for the print it will be shipped flat , UPS ground, signature confirmation.
