Description: Here is a pristine limited edition 25/40 Artist’s Proof signed and inscribed by Stanley Meltzoff (March 27, 1917 - November 9, 2006) - famous for his marine paintings and one of his most popular images. This impression has been in the publisher's Sportsman's Edge Ltd folder in came in for its whole life – never framed, no matt marks no sunning. The paper is 29 x 24 inches, the image 26"x19", inches. The lithograph is signed once in the image, once by the artist as part of the limited edition, with a personalizing inscription when he gave it as a gift. This is the best possible version, the real collector's item.Not any of these a cheap mass produced version, "print on order" Giclees reproductions ! Not the later 1983 printing. SM's signed ones he saved for friends and other artists This one is essentially unique, an AP more personalized that even the "limited edition".
