Description: # 78 with a broken nose converted to a chisel plane. Pat. Dates Jan.30-83 and Oct. 23-83. The blade has a Pat. date of Nov.18-84Bead blasted to bare metal,two coats primer,two coats gloss black. About 140 years old. I couldn't just part it out and throw the body away. Maybe someone can still get some use from it.
