Description: Up for sale is a super nice Stanley 606 Bedrock hand plane. It's a type 6a, with 2 Pat. dates behind the frog and the 1 !/4" brass adj. nut, a one year type (1922). The original patina on the tote and knob make for a beautiful plane. The corrugated sole is in perfect shape with no pitting or scratches or chips. The mouth is also perfect with no alterations. The bed had very spotty Japanning so I strip it off and painted the bed with automotive semi gloss Paint. Looks great.
