Description: Up for sale is a really nice Stanley #5 type 6. This plane is in great shape and has some cool features. The brass adj. nut has the Bailey info inside it, the chip breaker has the old school Bailey Patent info stamped on it. The front knob has the bead around the bottom . It also has the Q logo on the blade iron. The tote and knob have their original patina. The tote has had the horn shaved back to help access the lateral adj. lever. You see this a lot on the older planes. All in all a pretty neat 125 year old plane.
