Description: Estate find. This vintage pottery pitcher handpainted in a green spongeware pattern is in very good preowned condition and is free from cracks, crazing and repairs. There is one tiny chip on the outside (see photo) and some spots on the interior where it seems the glaze did not adhere completely but it does not affect the beauty or integrity of the piece. Green Caughley pattern. Maker’s mark stamped on the bottom, which shows wear as expected with use. Proudly made in the USA. Approximate Measurements: 6.25” H x 5” W (9” spout to handle) Please note: The 3 firing pin/stilt marks visible on the bottom of the piece is a natural part of Stangl’s firing process and are not defects.
