Description: Stangl Art Pottery Bird of Paradise Figurine #3408 - Circa 1950s - New with Original Foil Label! Stangl Pottery was in production from 1929 until 1978 in New Jersey. They were known for their dinnerware and line of birds. This high gloss bird with wings spread on a stump with flower and grass is done in greens, blues yellow and red. The base is stamped with the Stangl Pottery Birds mark in brown, the item number is stamped in the base and the artist's mark is in black. Measures approximately 5.25 inches from beak to back, 3.25 inches wing to wing (base is 3 inches by 4 inches) and piece is 5" high. Hand painted - original foil label still attached. Made in USA. Just as pictured.
