Description: Stamps, Republic of China (non-Communist China), prior to 1960. This is a collection of the Republic of China (non-Communist China). It was assembled in the late1950s, and contains no stamp issued after 1960. Stamps are predominantly mint lightly hinged on pages of the Scott Independent Countries of Asia album. Some of the older issues are used. In addition to regular issues the collection includes issues of the Northeastern Provinces, Sinkiang, Kwangtung (1N23-25; 1N27-32; 1N43-51), Shanghai & Nanking (the 9N series), Meng Chiang (Inner Mongolia)(the 2N series), plus Formosa (Taiwan) and Manchukuo. (See photos). Total Scott 2022 value is $1065.25. Of this total, Formosa comprises $121.00 and Manchukuo $34.90. A complete list of all Scott numbers is available if an email address can be provided.
