Brushed stainless steel surface with black plastic components. The stainless steel version of this product is sold out on the manufacturer’s website and is no longer available from Amazon or other retailers online. This stainless steel holder will accommodate a 5.5” diameter traditional-size plunger but it’s not designed to hold heavy-duty plungers with an oversized cup. It’s not magnetic, has no sliding door, nor any other moving parts. The back of the caddy is open so you can quickly withdraw your plunger while the sleek front of the caddy conceals the plunger head. There are some minor scuffs on the plastic underside from being shelved in my basement (see last photo) Any other perceived imperfections are negligible and were present right out of the box when I bought it. When I originally bought it, it arrived packaged in an unmarked brown cardboard box with no manufacturer's labeling. Buyer will receive it the same way.
