This Stainless Steel utility d-ring has a 3,500 lb. vertical pull weight rating*. The ring is welded together, not compressed. Both pieces are stainless steel, they will never rust. To obtain maximum strength it is recommended to install these d-rings with bolts, lock nuts, and fender washers (wide diameter). Hardware Kits (lock-nuts, bolts, & washers) are available in our eBay store. SPECIFICATIONS: The 3/16" diameter ring measures 1-1/4" wide x 1-1/2" long. The "top cap" is 3/32" thick. It measures 3/4" wide x 2-1/8" long, with 1/4" holes on 1-1/2" center. *RATED CAPACITY: Also known as "assembly capacity" or "break strength" is the minimum load a complete assembly can withstand before failure in a laboratory pull test when the product is NEW. WORKING LOAD LIMIT: The maximum load weight a tie-down should be subjected to during normal use.
