Description: Dinner plate by Liberty Blue in Independence Hall, copper engraving transferware, Staffordshire Ironstone, England This is a gorgeous patriotic plate made by Staffordshire for the US Bicentennial. The dinner plate design is Independence Hall and is in excellent condition, free from any damage and measures approximately 9.5 inches wide. It is dishwasher and detergent safe, but not microwave. The plate shows Independence Hall, the place where the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution were signed. The building was completed in 1753 as the Pennsylvania State House, then went on to be the site of the Constitutional Convention of 1787. A perfect piece to show off, especially before the 4th of July festivities. It also just make a great addition to your gorgeous blue and white pottery collection. It’s in giftable condition as well.
