Description: In the coming months I am converting a tiny fraction of my several tons of exotic hardwoods back into cash- the good stuff that rarely makes it back to market. I had this stuff drying indoors in a heated space for a decade or more and some of it dates all the way back to 1992 when I began collecting the prettiest wood I could find from around the world. If you have a question, please ask it before purchasing- I know my wood and will answer within a few hours most of the time. All dimensions are +/- 1/16" but tend to be more accurate. If there are defects that I can see that I think would cause a problem I will note it in the description. Burls and live edge may have natural internal flaws. From a super nice slab, these are hard and solid with a nice light rosy red coloration, not quite as contrasting or bright as in some of the photos, and have beautiful fiddleback curl figure with some blackline spalting accents here and there. There are several similar sets being listed today if you're looking to make a matched set. These will produce a gallery quality creation. 10+ years air dried and stabilized to perfection using the finest resin. Colorfast but UV protection in the finish is always recommended to preserve the richness of the color if it is to be used or displayed under sunlight, fluorescent lighting or any other UV producing artificial lighting. Gun grip blanks, micro lumber, jewelry, etc. Please note that the color you see on your screen may be different than the color I see on my screen so please ask questions if precise color or shade is important for your project.
