Exquisitely detailed engravings by Steelograph Company (New York City) of American and European landmarks: The United States Capitol, Schloss Neuschwanstein, Independence Hall, Mont St. Michel, United Nations Headquarters, The Houses of Parliament, The Giant Sequoia Trees, Windsor Castle, The Statue of Liberty, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, The Capitol at Colonial Williamsburg, and The Opera House - Paris. Includes detailed information and location maps of the sites. This set of covers has been laminated (with the intention of using them as placemats) by a former owner in an unfolded position with the right side being the front cover and the left side being the back cover. Covers appear to have never been used prior to laminating. 1960 copyright. Measures 18-1/2 inches in width and 12 inches in height which includes 1/2-inch of laminate border on all sides. Excellent overall condition. The United States Capitol menu cover has a small mark on the right edge. The Windsor Castle menu cover has a bent lower right corner (beneath the laminate). The Statue of Liberty menu cover has light edge browning on all sides. The Schloss Neuschwanstein menu cover has a smudge on the reverse side.
