Its excellent wear resistance (thanks to its high vanadium content) helps maintain a sharp cutting edge with prolonged use. Blade - with Leaf-Shaped profile , 3 mm thick. Plain blade is derived with Full Flat Grind for increased cutting properties. The flat grind guarantees excellent cutting edge geometry with a sharp tip, reduces the weight of the knife and presents a beautiful satin finish. The enlarged 14mm round SpyderHole cutout (Spyderco patent) allows the knife to be opened even with wet, sweaty hands. Finger Choil, an arched undercut for the index finger, and a notched thumb ramp on the back of the Blade for efficient folder handling. The whole is locked by a simple and proven Liner Lock. Handle - in burnt orange color, which at Spyderco is assigned to the wedges from CPM REX121.
