Description: Spode China has long offered the TRADEWINDS pattern in blue and red. For a short time Spode offered this pattern in black , but it is no longer being produced…therefore it has become difficult to obtain for anyone who has begun a collection in black. Each different type of plate is adorned with a different clipper ship. The salad plate (also referred to as the dessert plate). This is 8” in diameter. Pictured on the front is the George of Salem, built 1814. Please know that I am willing to sell a smaller quantity in multiples of two~~therefore you can contact me should you only wish to purchase 2, 4, or 6 plates.
