These are great for making mushroom plug spawn at a bargain and have the spiral grooves which are considered better for keeping mycelium intact during innoculation. These are RAW DRY PLUGS, simply boil, and sterilize, cool and innoculate. I will clarify this even more since i received a bad review about these: They are NOT inoculated; they will NOT grow mushrooms until sterilized and spawn is added!!
