Description: Very nice specimen, thumbnail, with Sphalerite crystals from the Iron Cap mine, in Graham County, arizona. This is an older classic locality for the species, and these crystals are very representative for the good quality which was found here. Many of the Sphalerites from this locality, although having a nice green/yellow transparency, had a frosted appearance on the crystal faces. Here, even though the photo's don't show it well, there is the same transparency, but the crystal faces are more glassy and lustrous. Nice AZ classic and good for the species.
