Do not screw to tied on ruff surfaces. Can be installed over cut opening 6"3/4 x 14"3/4. Made according to 2012 International Residential Code, chapter 4, section R408. Made in USA. Have installed on my house since 2008, no single problem, paint holds strong, no cracks, no rust. This posting is for the vents with some screen damage, nothing big, no more than one damage per vent.
