The leather is scratched, and rubbed. The edges are scuffed. The corners are bumped and torn. The cloth portion of the boards are faded, discolored and stained. The leather on the spine is rubbed, cracked and a piece is torn near the title. Internally, the book is firmly bound, with 452 pages. The pages have some wear and browning. Some nicks along the edges of the pages. Writing on the front end page and at the top of the Title page. The tissue guard at the Frontispiece is torn and stained.
