Harvey’s technique and use of soft edges and lines does not confine us to a certain feeling or a certain location. He entered his first major exhibition in 1965 and was recipient of the New Masters Award from the American Artists Professional League Grand National Exhibition. He was honored with a life membership in the Grand Central Galleries and has exhibited in the National Academy in New York. Many national publications have chosen his works for their covers. He is preeminent in his ability to merge fine art and authenticity with impeccable detail. Harvey’s talents exceed the boundaries of Western Art. He is a self-proclaimed impressionist who strives for much more than just literal representation and is able to offer us a reality with emotion and mood that we can easily identify. He is gifted in both painting and sculpture.
