Description: SPARE PARTS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS OFFERING!!!!!!!!!! This is my new reproduction of the Spare Parts Container developed for the M1903 Springfield Rifle. It was intended to be issued to 50% of troops armed with the rifle, replacing the oiler in the buttstock. It was made to contain a striker, firing pin and extractor NOT INCLUDED. These replicas have been coated with linseed oil to copy the appearance of finished originals. These spare parts containers were not made with absolute precision. Some minor sanding and fitting may be necessary. Also your rifle must have a small cut in the buttstock recess to allow clearance for the spare extractor. Not all original stock have this. If it is not there you may have to make it yourself for proper fit.
