Description: Spanish-American War Era US M1892 Krag Rifle Bayonet w/2nd Pattern Scabbard - Dated 1903 - Excellent Condition Up for sale is a Spanish American War US M1892 Krag Rifle Bayonet & 2nd Pattern Scabbard. The bayonet has a bright finish blade. No nicks or chips in the blade. No rust or pitting. No evidence of excessive sharpening. The wooden handles are in Excellent condition. No cracks or chips. The locking mechanism works fine. The blade is marked US on one side and dated 1903 on the other. This bayonet has the later 2nd pattern scabbard with the locking hook design. A couple minor dings in the scabbard, see photos. The bayonet is used, please see photo's for condition. It is difficult to find Krag bayonets in this condition. Please see photos.
