Description: For your consideration: vintage men’s right-handed Spalding Top Flite Pro Forged nine iron 2-P golf set . Also included, is a very nice sand wedge that will be described near the end; so, READ ON! Club heads have not seen much use and are in wonderful shape for their age, have no dings, and really don’t have that much chatter that is often associated with soft-forged clubs (note: there is a little finish wear on the Pw and 7 iron soles that is not a big deal and can be seen in the first photo). Faces look hardly used and the grooves are in excellent condition (note: face frosting looks great). Equipped with True Temper Dynamic Lite stiff flex steel shafts that are in good shape (note: shaft labels are in good shape also). The length of the 5 iron is 38-5/8” and is about 0.75” extra long if you personally consider 37.75” to be standard length for a steel shafted 5 iron. The Pw is 36.50” long (note: my measurement was taken with a carpenters ruler along the back side of the shaft from the end of the grip to the sole of the club with its last groove parallel to a hard grounding surface). Golf Pride New Decade Multi Compound grips feel a little smooth on the bottom half of the grip, but should provide you with some game time (note: seeing that they have retained a good portion of their softness, maybe you can find a way to freshen them up. The top half of the grip is full cord and feels good for play). Ferules and thin detail trim rings are in good shape. Also included in the last photo, is a new Royale Tour Classic 55* Sw that is equipped with a True Temper stiff flex steel shaft and a Kelmac perforated wrap-style grip that is in very good shape.
