The ship distinguished itself in the first days of the war by making a raid on the Romanian port of Constanta and then fought valiantly throughout the initial period of the war. It played a significant role in the defense of Odessa and Sevastopol. She was also prominent in the amphibious assault landings at Kerch and later, at Novorossiysk. The ship was awarded with a Guards title for its accomplishments during the war, which is reflected in the Guards ribbon visible in the lower part of the flag depicted on the badge.This badge is in GREAT CONDITION!
