Description: Soviet Russian USSR Order of the Badge of Honor, a scarce earlier piece with serial number in the 70-thousand range, with research (!), awarded in 1945 to a mid-level manager at Aircraft Industry Factory 292, or the Saratov Aircraft Factory, which produced Yak fighter aircraft during WWII, and frequently came under German bombing attack. The awardee's role would have meant he was involved in reconstructing the factory after it was damaged. A scarce, researched award for armaments production during WWII! The research supporting the identification of the recipient by award serial number is a redacted excerpt of an archival document (apparently from a “closed” archive) that provides the following information:1) a list of award recipients, the names and serial numbers of the awards presented, and the serial numbers of the accompanying order/medal booklets2) the date of awarding3) the awarding authority – both the body that authorized the award and the government official empowered to physically present the awards To reiterate – the archival document is excerpted (i.e. snippets of pages from a multi-page file) and redacted (award serial numbers for other recipients have been blurred out). That is what I received with the awards, and that is what I am passing on (electronic format). Professional English translation available if requested before receipt of item. The awarding Decree is also available, and the relevant excerpts can be translated. Condition is excellent, as seen in the images! The serial number of the award is authentic and matches the serial number shown in the archival documents, obviously! If you require confirmation in advance, please send me a message, and I will gladly provide images. Over time, I have found that redacting award serial numbers in certain listings (particularly of researched awards) has acted a simple and effective filter to sort good customers from troublesome eBay hooligans. Reasonable, rational collectors who are genuinely interested in the history represented by an award will make the effort to reach out and will quickly find that everything is in order. No returns. All questions in advance. I will answer all coherent, respectful inquiries to the best of my ability. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE only through eBay’s Global Shipping Program (GSP). With this program: once the item is delivered to the address to which eBay directs me to ship, all responsibility for final safe delivery of the item to the buyer becomes eBay’s. If you wish to combine shipping, you must contact me in advance to make arrangements. Buyers from any country in the exclusion list must always contact me in advance of purchase.
