Description: * * * * CHARLESTON SC COIN SILVER - PLEASE READ ON * * * * For sale is a pair of antique Southern solid coin silver table serving spoons in the TUSCAN pattern (introduced in 1846 designed by Michael Gibney) retailed by Gregg Hayden & Co. of Charleston, South Carolina circa 1850. This listing includes the following items: 2 each - Large table serving spoons 8 3/8" long; combined weight 153 grams. These pieces are marked GREGG HAYDEN & Co. and PATENT 1846. Both are in very good used condition; nice original patina and very little wear from past use, especially the tips of the bowls. Lightly hand cleaned for the purpose of taking photos. They are both monogrammed (JGI?).
