It's a 26" high, 25 lb beast with an 8" down-firing woofer. Not the later wimpy, undersized models. The Soundcast Outcast is a rechargeable, outdoor wireless speaker with four omnidirectional drivers for stereo sound, and the 8" subwoofer. It provides excellent full-bodied sound outdoors. Not washed out by using it in open air. It's also suitable in large indoor spaces like gymnasiums or large rooms. Not recommended in medium or small rooms unless you retune it for a small indoor space via external EQ. In very good condition. Has some minor scratches and rub marks. Also a couple of small dings on the back side. The hinge of AC socket's protective rubber cover failed, but the cover still stays in place securely. The battery is in excellent condition, and the Outcast plays music for many hours. I tested and timed it before listing it for sale, and am getting about 10 hours of continuous playing time on a full charge. Of course, this will vary per volume, illumination setting, temperature, etc. If you ever need to replace the battery, it's easy to do. Just undo one screw to open the cover on the bottom, and swap the battery with an "Outcast ICO410 battery" which is easily found on popular shopping websites (~$40). The Outcast can play music when plugged in and charging. So in a fix, you can plug it in and keep enjoying the music, in case the battery runs out of juice during an event. The UAT Wireless Transmitter is self-powered from a computer USB audio source. Or if you use the RCA audio jack inputs, use the USB cable and power adapter to power the UAT. Pairing it with a music streamer is a great way to go.
