Description: Sony MZ-EH930 Hi-MD portable player (brown) in fair condition.Comes with Sony gumstick battery. It's able to play MiniDisc (MD) and 1 GB Hi-MD discs. It fails to read about 50% of discs. This is a player-only device and cannot record to MiniDiscs. I have disassembled, cleaned and lubed the interior mechanisms of the unit. The battery door contacts are clean. The battery has leaked at some point, and there is corrosion marks on the plastics near the battery door. The silver plastic is starting to flake off. There's a small dent at the bottom right of the front cover. Condition exactly as in photos. Remote shown in photo is for playback demonstration only, and is not included.
