Description: Scarce Song Dynasty Chinese Artist Su Hanchen "Children Playing with a Balance Toy" up for sale a gorgeous and scarce reproduction print by famous Chinese artist from 12th century.Print was released 2000 by Museum of Fine Art, Boston. Most likely it was used for educational purposes in the art school. There are four holes for display.Print is in great vintage condition with light usage marks. A painting by the Song Dynasty Chinese artist Su Hanchen (active 1130s–1160s) of two children.Using a deft brush and delicate colors, Su Hanchen has conveyed the quality of children concentrating on play. Every detail in this work is precisely delineated, making it one of Su Hanchen's surviving masterpieces. Since the game that the children are playing here is associated with northern China (combined with the fact that the realism relates to the court style of the Northern Song), this work may have been done when Su was still working under Emperor Huizong.
