The box will accommodate paintings up to 9x12" horizontally and 12" wide and 18" tall painting substrates. The integrated lid sliders hold substrate below your sightline, which allows an unobstructed view of your subject. The easel comes with two palettes - a varnished sliding wood palette that has a dual purpose of separating materials from the bottom storage compartment and a clear acrylic palette that allows you to put a grey sheet underneath for greater hue definition while outdoors.
