Smiths Everest 9kt Solid Gold Vintage Watch (Running

Description: This is a solid 9kt gold watch made by Smiths and given out as a commemorative employee gift. The case back is inscribed as shown in the photos. The watch case without crystal or movement weighs approximately 8 grams. The lug on the bottom right appears slightly bent possibly from being dropped. The dial has wear throughout and especially at the edges. The bezel is removable from the front and the movement is taken out that way. When opening this watch case I initially removed the movement and it has an inner shroud/bezel that keeps the movement in place. The movement is clean with no visible damage but likely needs service. After putting the movement back in however, I have since been unable to remove it and did not want to risk breaking the crown and stem attempting to pull the movement out. The watch case back is hallmarked 375 for 9kt gold. Unfortunately I am unable to now take a picture of the hallmark. The hands and second hand are not original. The original hands are gold dauphine style and the second hand is gold with a red tipped arrowhead. The watch does run but has not been timed for accuracy.
