Description: Up for sale is a Very Nice condition Hammer Block, Cylinder Stop and Rebound Slide 5-Piece parts group, that originated from a well cared-for S&W Model 637-2 revolver. Handling marks and signs of general use are light on these parts, and all are fully functional. To confirm, the parts that are included in this listing are as follows: - Hammer Block - Rebound Slide Spring - Rebound Slide (MIM / Metal Injected Molded Steel) - Cylinder Stop Spring - Cylinder Stop (MIM / Metal Injected Molded Steel) - Note these MIM Parts have an offset hole for the spring, vs older Cylinder Stops where the hole for the spring was centered... ***PLEASE NOTE -COMPATIBILITY WARNING FOR VINTAGE MODELS - DO NOT USE this kit for a Vintage-Era J-Frame revolvers, or even some models ranging into the 1990's or early 2000's - only use the parts in this listing for the "Late" or "Current" Model revolvers that used the contemporary MIM (Metal Injected Molded) Internal Parts. The Cylinder Stop has a hole for it's spring that is "offset" on these newer parts, versus a centered hole on the old parts. Also, there is a "Slot" slightly cut out of the bottom of the Rebound Slide on the newer parts to accommodate changes to the internal mechanics of the newer models and that slot was not on the older Rebound Slides. Finally, the newer Hammer Blocks are shaped completely different from the ones that were used on the older models. Lots of subtle differences between older vs newer!! - Please be aware of the differences and don't hesitate to send us a message if there's questions you have about cross-compatibility.
