So the lower the VLT the less light that reaches your eye and the higher the VLT the more light that reaches your eye. Leo's Review Notes: Took the 4D MAG with the ChromaPop Everyday Green Mirror lens out for a few laps on a chilly New England day at Jay Peak VT, with some light snow falling, and variable light conditions. The CPE Green Mirror lens performed excellent and provided a lot of contrast even in lower light conditions. Quickly changed to the magnetic CP Storm Rose Flash and that completely changed my outlook. More contrast, I could see further down the hill making for a fun increase in speed. The 4D fits so well I almost forgot I had it on my face. The lens is molded inward below the eyes so looking down was incredible, as if there was no frame at all.
