Featuring a simple box stye, it is marked HAND MADE LEVER ~ PATENT 16064 - I believe it is English. There are no keys, so it does not lock closed - when purchased, the owner had it frame mounted on the wall with a huge collection of similar brass locks - there is trace tape on the back as shown - it removes with goo off or a blade. Owner thought it was English. Condition is very nic with no damage and just a hint of wear to the iron loop. Fun addition to any collection or display! If questions, please contact me - thanks!
