The gallon size is not marked but I would guess maybe 2 gallon. With lid on it measures appx. 15 3/4" x 11" x 4 3/4" high. Interior storage area measures 12" x 9" x 3 1/2". This is small enough for cabinet, closet, under bed or even drawer storage due to compact size. A little minor wear but nothing of note. Has design on lid as shown.
