This is a remake of one of the best railroad melodramas of the 1930's, Rome Express. A diary, that was stolen from a diplomat in Paris, finds its way on board the Orient Express. The two thieves have already double-crossed each other. Among the passengers, there are plenty of interested parties (heroes and villains) who hope to claim the diary for their own purposes. When one of them is murdered, police chief Jolif (Paul Dupulis) takes charge of the case. The film was made in 1948. It runs 90 minutes and is in black & white. Below is a sample clip from the DVD.
