This shot-peening compresses the surface of the steel thereby increasing the tensile strength of the spring. Without this shot-peening procedure, the maximum wheel travel and ride quality could not be achieved without sacrificing the life of the spring. Softride(R) springs use bolt style spring clips, eliminating friction. Other spring designs use the c in. style bend clips which bend tightly over the spring leafs causing binding and friction. Skyjacker(R) Softride(R) springs taper over the entire length of the leaf creating more flex at the leaf ends. Most orders are shipped within same business day if received before 1pm EST (or within 1 business day after 1pm) and deliver within 2-5 business days. We may require signature confirmation in certain cases. RETURNS Returns must be shipped within 30 days of receipt of the original shipment. Returned items must be in original "as new" condition. Returned items must include all Original Packaging, Manuals, Hardware, Accessories, etc. A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from us prior to returning any item for any reason. To ensure that you are properly credited, do not return any merchandise without prior authorization. Once an item has been installed, modified or used, it can no longer be accepted for return.
