Description: Up for sale is a copy of "SKETCHES IN LONDON" by James Grant. Published in 1838 by W.S. Orr & Co., London. 1838, but not original binding (circa 1900 binding). Illustrated. Overall, the book is in Good Condition. The partial leather red boards have some wear, stains and discoloration. The edges are scuffed. The corners are bumped and torn. The front hinge and the spine are loose. Internally, there are 408 pages, with very nice illustrations! There is some browning to the pages, particularly along the edges. Some nicks, and creases to the edges of the paper. A few stains and some of the plates are dampstained. Pencil notes by a previous owner on the front end pages. Other dings here and there.
