Description: Up for sale is a copy of "SKETCHES IN HOLLAND AND SCANDINAVIA" by Augustus J. C. Hare. Published by David McKay, Publisher, Pennsylvania. Circa 1884. Overall, the boards are in Fair+ Condition. They have heavy wear, discoloration and stains. White stains on the front board. The spine is faded and the cloth is scuffed at the top and the bottom. The edges are scuffed. The corners are bumped and fraying. Both boards are a little loose and the book leans slightly. There are some stains on the outside of the closed pages. Internally, there are 234 pages. The inside is generally in Good- Condition. There is some wear and browning to the pages. Some writing by a previous owner on the front end pages. Some of the pages have nicks or creases around the edges. There are damp stains on some of the rear pages. Some of the pages are separating from the spine (see photos). Other dings here and there.
