You use this with a Skaa audio transmitter or a speaker that contains a Skaa audio transmitter such as a Soundboks (3rd gen or newer). For instance, connect a Soundboks with a JBL Partybox by connecting the receiver to the Partybox and putting the Soundboks in "Host" mode. This receiver is powered by usb and comes with a special battery pack that will run when you plug it in. The reason a typical battery bank charger will not work is because the receiver uses so little power that the powerbanks will auto shut off.
